Leadership

Any valuable human entity needs leadership. The master of the Lodge had the chance to assist this last Saturday to a demonstration of leadership and human endeavour. The first sign of a leader is to listen the others and create the ambiance needed for everyone to express its views, before taking decisions. The process of decision-making is not democratic in a larger part of human constructions; it is herarchical. But a leader who knows how to act has the care to consult the others before moving on; this is an expression of inteligence and education, sensing the solidity of the ground before walking out. We have the proper man for the job. So may the Grand Architect support him in its effort and we, his fellowmen, converge to the same purpose and achievements. Step by step; stone after stone, brick after brick, word after word. In peace.
