Dan Brown's last book “The Lost Symbol,” is becoming an international phenomenon. Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group, which is shipping five million copies of “The Lost Symbol,” hired a company to design a Web marketing campaign. At Barnes & Noble, advance orders for “The Lost Symbol” have outpaced all other previous adult titles . Advance orders for “The Lost Symbol” made it the No. 1 best seller on Amazon last week. By last week customers had preordered close to 70,000 copies of “The Lost Symbol.” So there is an enlarged interest to understand better freemasonry what is good for the Craft as such. But sometimes in creating its argument, Don Brown - who is not a freemason - becomes too inventive, falling, easly, in fantasy.
According with the same reports the marketing about the book has helped other books to resell, namely “Born in Blood: the Lost Secrets of Freemasonry” by John J. Robinson, and “Freemasons for Dummies” by Christopher Hodapp.
So it is a good way for anyone not specially familiar with what is and intends freemasonry, to start with.
Thanks Mr. Brown.
