The Grand Master of the Grand Orient Lusitano gives an interview to one of the daily newspapers and talks about its Order here, the relation with the Catholic Church, the 1st Republic and other well-known topics. The tone is educated, self-controlled but the freemason don't prevent himself from chatting about politics, its political party and the assessement its GOL makes of the Socialist government. This is something that would be impossible in any regular masonic Obedience anywhere in the world: to use a masonic position to make politics and mix everything in the same bowl. But the GOL is coherent with a tradition that comes from 1807 when rejected the Rule of the 12 points.A text to be read and reflected about. Because this is something that should not be replicated - ever- within GLLP.
