New Jersey Freemasonry open doors to the public

The Most Ancient and Honorable Society of Free and Accepted Masons in New Jersey will open the doors of all Freemason lodges in New Jersey to the public 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9.
Members of the public are welcome to tour the lodges, ask questions and learn about Freemasonry and its commitment to community, see the lodge rooms as they would appear for lodge meetings, and learn about the numerous charities that are supported by Freemasonry.
Atlantic County is home to eight active lodges located in six Masonic temples: Atlantic Lodge 221, 633 Bayview Drive, Absecon; Keystone Lodge 153 and Justice Lodge 285, Shore Road and Poplar Avenue, Linwood; Trinity Lodge 79 and Belcher Lodge 180, 563 Zion Road in Egg Harbor Township; Unity Lodge 96, 81 Mill St. in Mays Landing, Hamilton Township; H.T. Dewey Lodge 226, 220 Philadelphia Ave., Egg Harbor City; and M.B. Taylor Lodge 141, Central Avenue and Peach Street, Hammonton.
