Convent of Liberal Freemasonry in France

According with the site of the Grande Oriente Lusitano one thousand and two hundred freemasons gather in Lyon (France) between 3 and 5 September in the 2009 Convent of the Grand Orient de France, the oldest liberal (or irregular) European obedience.
The agenda included several issues mainly the transformation of the the GOF into a mixed obedience, proposal that was rejected by 60% of the freemasons present. A positive decision was taken related to the returning of the GOF to CLIPSAS (Centre de Liaison et d’Information des Puissances Signataires de l’Appel de Strasbourg), an European federation of liberal grand lodges. Pierre Lambicchi was reinstalled for a second term at the head of GOF. According with the GOL site, other grand lodges were represented in the gathering with expressive delegations including the Portuguese grand orient which delegation was headed by the Grand Master, António Reis.
