Antonio Reis, former member of the Portuguese Parliament, by the Socialist Party has been renewed as the Grand Master of the Grand Orient Lusitano, one of the most ancient Grand Orient of Europe, to a new tenure of three years. A well-known intellectual, author and poet, Mr. A. Reis is a respected figure in the Portuguese intellectual circles. The Grand Orient Lusitano was consecrated almost two hundred years ago under the auspices of the Grand Lodge of England after turning into irregularity in the nineteen century.
